Skin Rescue is our most concentrated botanical body serum for targeted skin care, thoughtfully formulated for cracked, distressed, severely dry, mildly scraped, and sun-exposed skin. Rather than relying on a simple carrier-oil base, Skin Rescue brings together four of our premium botanical infusions—Aloe Vera, Comfrey Leaf, Calendula, and Yarrow—with exceptionally rich Tamanu, Borage, and Baobab Oils.
At the heart of the formula are our premium in-house infusions of Organic Comfrey Leaf, Calendula Flower, and Yarrow Flower in Organic Jojoba. Calendula is treasured for its gentle, soothing properties, while Comfrey Leaf is naturally rich in allantoin and has a long history of traditional use for conditioning stressed and compromised-feeling skin. Yarrow, another time-honored skin botanical, rounds out this incredible trio with soothing care for skin that looks or feels distressed.
A substantial amount of Organic Tamanu Oil provides Calophyllolide and intensive nourishment that helps support the skin's natural moisture barrier, while Borage Oil, naturally rich in omega-6 GLA, helps replenish lipid-depleted, severely dry skin. Baobab Seed Oil adds another layer of essential fatty acids and emollient nourishment to help restore the skin barrier.
A restrained touch of Manuka and German (Blue) Chamomile was selected specifically to complement the botanical oils and provide additional care for sensitive, stressed-looking skin at a level conservative enough for already compromised skin while still providing the benefits.
